How is it different to ‘health’ myself instead of heal myself? I really like the idea of Healthing my body and my mind, together as one intuitively created entity, surrounded by, wrapped in and totally enmeshed in the inseparability of my own goodness, my own God-ness.
To heal from something, a childhood trauma, a physical impairment, the loss of a relationship, a home, a job, a loved one, seems often to be more than our conscious mind is able to deal with.
Several years ago, I went through ‘wellness screening’ programs at work. They dealt mostly with physical well-being, with a much kinder and more realistic attitude than any other health screening I had ever experienced. But what about this thing we call Mind? Who takes care of Healthing our minds?
We are each responsible and able to health our own minds and, in the process, reinvent ourselves. We must take ownership of that which God has given us to use and activate our own well-being. We make ourselves well when we align our minds, our consciousness, with the ever present Spirit within. When we own our minds, our thoughts and our actions, we also need to honor our physical bodies, as they are and as they are not. This makes us, as individual divine creations of God, responsible and empowered to create our total well-being. This is God’s gift to us, our true birthright.
There is no need to remain selectively ignorant or afraid of the power within while waiting for our fertile minds to nurture it. We may and are able to blossom in the light of the divinity within, any time we consciously choose to do so.
I delight in the thought of Healthing myself: “Inside every person is a God in embryo.” It has one desire. It wants to be born. And I think it wants to be born healthy.
We are birthed only once, we can rebirth ourselves endlessly.
